Some time ago (years I guess)..I read somewhere (here I think when the forum was mainly german..) that some generators use the same type of belt, but that these belts were a lot cheaper (something round a 5th to a 10th as far as I can remember). Anyone else remembering that? maybe a bit more concrete? I have looked for a belt of that type, but I have not found it anywhere so far...maybe it's just to good to be true....
